Accident at home
While cleaning out the gutters of their home, Jordan tumbled from the ladder and broke their leg. Now, they’ll be out of work for at least 8 weeks to recover.
Fortunately, Jordan’s benefit package includes Beam's short-term disability plan, which covers $250 per week for up to 13 weeks. That gives Jordan plenty of time to focus on recovering.

Expecting employees
After years of trying to conceive with her partner, Sarah is welcoming her first child this fall!
Lucky for her, benefits through her employer include Beam's short-term disability plan, which provides coverage for extended maternity leave ($250 per week for up to 13 weeks). Her Beam coverage will help ease the financial burden of medical care while Sarah is off work, allowing her to focus on the newest member of their family.

Long-term disability
When a car accident left Don permanently disabled, his first thought was, “How am I going to continue to support my family?”
Don and his wife reviewed their long-term disability coverage. They were relieved to learn that Don’s employer-paid Beam plan provides coverage for extended disability. Don and his wife will be supported by the plan until Don reaches Social Security Normal Retirement Age in four years. Now, Don has peace of mind, knowing he can focus on his health and his family without additional financial burden.
