Beam Benefits CEO honored by Goldman Sachs for entrepreneurship

Alex Frommeyer featured among the most exceptional entrepreneurs at the 2023 Builders and Innovators Summit.
COLUMBUS, Ohio (October 18, 2023) – Beam Benefits, a digitally-led employee benefits company, announced today that its co-founder and CEO, Alex Frommeyer, has been recognized by Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) as one of the Most Exceptional Entrepreneurs of 2023 at its Builders and Innovators Summit in Healdsburg, California.
Frommeyer co-founded Beam in 2012 while attending the University of Louisville with a mission to modernize dental benefits and give people access to affordable services. After much success with its Bluetooth-connected toothbrush known as the Beam Brush, which would become one of the earliest examples of the Internet of Things in healthcare, the company evolved into a one-stop shop for ancillary benefits, offering dental, vision, life, disability, and supplemental health coverage available across the U.S.
